I'm going nuts here with the not knowing. The not knowing the price of Wii, the not knowing when I can have Wii, the not know what will come in the box with Wii for that price I am not knowing.

Arrrrrrgh!!!!!!

Does anyone have any inkling of when Nintendo will divulge this info? Can anyone surmise what Nintendo's strategy was for keeping it to themselves? Wii seems more ready to go than PS3, so it seems likely that Wii will launch at the same time as PS3 if not before. But why wouldn't they announce it?

Do you think they'll let us know at the end of E3? Can we expect to hear it today? What are the rumours people?

I think they're waiting for Sony to divulge all of its information. Then they can step up while everyone's thinking "I've gotta pay HOW MUCH?!?!?" and "you mean there's only gonna be a handful released in America?". That's when they say "Ours is 1/3 of the price, we will have plenty available, and our games look just as good as theirs (for now)"

BTW, does anyone know how many will be available at release?

I'm waiting to see more ads on TV and whatnot. The level of aggression in their ad campaign might give you a clue as to how many they're putting on the shelves.

I don't know. Sony's strategy is mind-boggling to me. I still think the core 360 is priced too bloody high. I didn't get PS2 until it dropped to CDN$150.

Screw that when will we see the playable stands in stores. YOu know when will Nintendo and Sony put out the Intractive stands. Thats what i want to see. Price for the Wii is still killing me I need to know now

So far, according to EBGames, It's looking like Wii is shipping on November 1st. At least, that's when all its launch titles are shipping.

No more than 25,000 Yen. That translates to $223. So possibly $220 or $225? $250CDN is looking about right, maybe $260CDN.

I can care less as long as they don't pull the double system plan. Unless you buy a system with a game or not. i can see that. But don't do the Core system and Pro system that Idea is stupid. I understood MS reason but it was stupid. Sony is doing it because who really can afford a $600 system (with no games). Not anyone wont get one, but it's not cost effective for you.


As far as date I heard some where around Oct/Sept. Which is good. Get the jump on Sony. And the Sept date may be right because so far the date for Zelda is Sept.
