OMFG PS3 PRICE GIVEN. They Pulled the Xbox

Yeah right. You can build a PC for $600 that can graphically rival the PS3, plus do all of the things a PC can do that a PS3 can't. If you go by the differential -- since we assume people are going to have a PC in their home anyway, the true price to consider the differnece between a...

Gay Marriage Should it be legal

That's not appropriate, Weise. If we can't keep it civil, let's at least keep the death threats to a minimum. Anyway, here's some interesting and timely news for this debate. Lesbians' brains work differently than straight womens' brains.. The hypothalamus is a fairly primitive region of...

OMFG PS3 PRICE GIVEN. They Pulled the Xbox

All of a sudden, the price gap between PC's and consoles seems a lot smaller.

OMFG PS3 PRICE GIVEN. They Pulled the Xbox

There's more of a difference between the versions than just the HDD. The $499 version lacks WiFi capability. It also lacks a slots for memory stick/sd memory cards. Probably most importantly, it lacks HDMI output.

    Stars' Empire

Alright, normally we just delete the spam "come check out our game" threads but this one will stay for now because this guy only posted ONE thread, it was intelligible, and he made it clear what he was posting about.

VHS, still relevant in this digital age?

Once my next day off from work rolls around I'll be getting a DVR installed, it's only $10 on top of the price of digital cable. Worth it in my opinion, after using it at other people's houses. I will probably pack away the VCR at that point (the $20 wonder that it is, gotta love shopping...

    Riviera: The Promised Land

I'm a big fan of Atlus, they're one of the few companies who is determined to take risks and publish the kind of games they want, as opposed to the kind of games they think the average consumer wants. I haven't played this one yet but from what I've read and seen, it does look a little...

E3 Games: Which ones are you excited about

Is it sad that there's nothing that really gets me excited in this list? Thankfully it's not comphrensive. There are a few things that pique me but nothing that I'm dying to see. Not even Rocket Slime, though I'll probably get it. Twilight Princess is on everyone's list of course, but I'm...

    Toughest bosses

Practically every boss in Blaster Master. Especially if you didn't do a level perfectly and didn't have the awesome wave gun.

    Orson Scott Card

Wait, let me see if I can stop laughing enough to get this straight: You call me a "faggot loving queer" (which would be kind of redundant, unless you're trying to say that I'm a smoker), and I'm the one who's getting mad? You get any cramps from twisting yourself into knots like that...

    How are video games written?

What he's looking for are usually called "Writer's guidelines". Another good idea is to try to get in contact with some actual game writers and ask them your questions. There's no better source than the horse's mouth, so to speak. If you ask around, I guarantee you'll find someone receptive...

    Video Game Violence

Ignoring the faulty logic of trying to claim that one situation is unique, how about this: am I not allowed to judge someone who doesn't pick up their dog's crap when they walk it if I don't have a dog? Your claim that one has to be a parent to judge a parent is just patently rediculous.

    Orson Scott Card

    1) There's a quote button, it would save you some time and effort. 2) The nature of a discussion board is such that people will disagree with you at some point. If you can't handle criticism, you shouldn't bother participating. Every last one of us here has been singled out and criticised...
