    Movies to games?

These may have already been translated into games, either here or in Japan, and if so then I've not seen them, but Akira and Vampire Hunter D could potentially be huge games, if done properly. Akira could be some kind of RPG, similar to Jade Empire with some motorcycle racing elements, and...

    New Superman Trailer

Superman represents the very best in the opposing view of alien contact. Instead of causing random destruction and abductions, He strives to maintain peace and help return people to their homes. Instead of blind, rage-fueled hate, he uses his amazing powers for good and American justice...

    PS3 New Controller

I am thoroughly relieved to see this design as the final PS3 controller. When the images of the system first started popping up online I was completely freaked out by the "grappling hook / Bat-a-rang" design for the controller and not only hoped and prayed that it would be changed but cursed...

    Jokes

I haven't read through all 25 pages of this thread so forgive me if these are repeats. A sandwich walks into a bar and bartender scowls and points to the door. "Get out, we don't serve food here!" and A Minister, a priest, and a Rabbi walk into a bar and the bartender says, "what is...

What ps3 games outta these do you want most?

i am actually waiting to play Motor Storm. I am completely bored with the current racing games, need for speed, gran turismo, even Flatout, and Motor Storm looks like it is going to take the graphic advantage of the next-gen systems and push it right over the edge, not to mention crashing into...

On which side of game mods (modding) do you fall?

Mod on I say. I have neither the time or saavy to accomplish what those guys accomplish with the mods but I think it's super cool and frequently use them when I play Call of Duty. I tried back in the day with Duke Nuken 3D but it was complete disaster and I will speak nomore about it.

    Trivia, Trivia, Triva!

Sounds good to me. Here are a few more: 1) From what material is rice paper actually made? 2) What novel contains the longest sentence in literature? 3) What is the address for Big Bird's nest on Sesame Street? Luck.

    PS3 game improvements?

Huzzah, a rational human. There are built it problems associated with a system like this (overheating, backwards compatibility, so on), so I think I can hold off until those kind of problems have been resolved. Besides, if the PS2 is still going to be releasing killer games well into next year...

Operating Systems, What operating system do you use?

i have an old VAIO that I use from time to time that has Windows 98 and still works surprisingly well considering it's age and being well used. Especially good for those old 3D Realms shooters. But nowadays I use Mac for the day to day operations. Hooray!

E3 Games: Which ones are you excited about

Although I feel that the field of FPSs is plenty saturated enough, especially those surrounding the events of World War II, I am looking forward to what possible advances (besides graphically) Call of Duty 3 can offer. I watched the E3 trailer and was as impressed as one could be without seeing...

    Duke Nukem 3D

Duke Nukem 3D, I pioneer in the FPS genre, I still have my copy (Atomic Edition). The slaughter of poorly rendered sprites, the canned sound, the tongue in cheek humor, you can't beat it with a stick. I cut my teeth on the original side scrollers and loved every minute of it, but the 3D was...

    Trivia, Trivia, Triva!

Huzzah! Good answer. next Questions... 1) How many feet per minute does the standard escalator move? 2) In what year was January 1 first used to mark the beginning of the new year? 3) In the movie predator, Arnold Schwarzenegger's character was only refered to as 'Dutch', but what...

    Worst Games Ever

How about Street Fighter The Movie the game, yikes! Craptacular. Superman for N64 also comes to mind and slowly makes me sad just to think about how cruddy it was. Let us not forget Spawn the Eternal (suckfest), Drake of the 99 Dragons, and Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness. I feel dirty.

    Trivia, Trivia, Triva!

Two out of three ain't bad, let's see if anyone can answer elusive number two. Here's a hint, albeit a basically useless one, the ultimate publisher of this book was William Morrow & Company and was rejected 121 times, yikes.

    Star Trek: Online?

A Star Trek and Star Wars MMO? Why did it take so long to develope these games? You'd think that following the success of Knights of the Old Republic, this idea would have been explored sooner, oh well, they're quickly becoming a reality now. I think the Star Trek game is going to be much...

    Trivia, Trivia, Triva!

Greetings and salutations, tired of all this video game hoo-haa, then wrap your jerkied brain around these puzzlements: 1) What late 90s film features Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Lopez in their only cinematic pairing? 2) What non-fiction book has the record for the most manuscript...

VHS, still relevant in this digital age?

Who out there still owns a VCR? My guess is most of you do. How many use it more than once every 6 months? I still have a VCR connected to every TV in the house, but I'm not sure why. But I do have a neat little cassette collection with some real gems (WMAC Masters, Reboot, MST3K) and I'll...
