Clay Jam reminds me of Katamari Damacy. The gameplay is very similar. You can find videos on Youtube to give you a better idea of the game. The game is free, so, even if you were to download it and not enjoy it, it won't cost you anything.
I agree with you. I was always a fan of the Fight Night series and thought Fight Night Champion, the last Fight Night game released, was a really strong game. Sadly, it appears as though EA has scrapped the Fight Night series in order to spend time on developing UFC games. The one slight hope...
Great choice! I would definitely echo this. Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee was one of my favorite PS1 games. Have you played Oddworld New n Tasty? This is available for download on Steam and also on the PS4.
Did you enjoy Dead Island? I enjoyed the start, however, the game, for me, became rather repetitive and uninteresting rather quickly. As as result, I passed on Dead Island 2.
Street Fighter would be my vote for favorite video game music, also. It really added to the overall enjoyment of the game for me.
I could listen to this on a loop all day long:
Clay Jam is probably my favorite mobile game of 2015. It is really fun with a great sense of humor. The game does a great job of combining a simple concept with a stiff challenge. On top of all this, the game is beautiful.
I enjoyed Mario Sunshine and still play this on occasion. The graphics really hold up really well, even today. However, I did find the gameplay to be pretty frustrating at times and I was not a fan of the camera. FLUDD is really fun to use though. On a scale of 1-10, I would score Mario Sunshine...
I recently read this great article on Polygon which provides a lot of great interesting information on the game and includes an interview with Howard Scott Warshaw. The article is well worth a read, IMO and even touches upon the wealth of cartridges that were buried in a New Mexico landfill.
Both games are immortal classics but if I had to choose between Mario and Zelda, I would definitely go with Mario. I was never really a huge Zelda fan but by contrast I spent countless hours playing Mario. Still to this day the mere thought of Mario makes me very nostalgic for my childhood.
Much like seemingly everyone else, I was a big fan of Angry Birds when it was first released. It was so simple but fun and addicting. Though like most things after a while, the game ran its course and it has been a while since I have played it. My favorite of all the versions released was Angry...
Sadly, I read an interview last week Naughty Dog’s Josh Scherr who pretty much flat out dismissed any possibility of resurrecting either Crash Bandicoot or Jak & Daxter. A shame.
I agree. ET has to be in the running for worst game of all time. What an epic fail, there was almost nothing enjoyable about the game. Other games that deserve mention for me include Superman 64, Club Drive and Black Ops Declassified.
Consoles that I still have in my collection and in working condition include: NES, SNES, Gameboy, Dreamcast, Gamecube, PS1, PS2, PS3 and PS4 although it has been a while since I have dusted off my NES and Dreamcast so I am assuming they are still in working condition.
I remember picking up Viewtiful Joe 2 on a whim for about $5. This must have been six years or so ago. For $5 I figured even if I only spent a few hours playing the game I would more than get my money's worth. As it turned out, I ended up investing countless hours into the game. It is easy to...
I am in the same boat as you. These days, my backlog is so long that it just doesn't make sense to pay full retail for a game I am probably not going to get around to playing for a few months anyway. I may as well hold off and wait for it to go on sale and then buy it. This was the very reason...
Are you as sad as I am about no NCAA Football games in the near future? While I enjoy the Madden games and usually end up caving and purchasing a copy each year, they paled in comparison to the NCAA franchise, IMO.
I did. I really enjoyed the NBA Street games with Vol. 2 being my personal favorite. Your post also reminded me of how much I enjoyed the NFL Street games and makes me a little sad that there are no plans to bring back either NBA Street or NFL Street to next gen consoles.
Which of the Jak & Daxter games is your personal favorite? My own personal favorite is Jak II. The entire series is my favorite Playstation platformer.
I am still holding out hope that Naughty Dog will release a new version of the game for the PS4.
The days of me buying day 1 releases are mostly over. Games tend to drop in price so quickly these days that it makes sense for me to hold off for a month or two and get the game at a discounted price. There are a few games that I am willing to make an exception for - FIFA, Football Manager and...
