    Best/Worst Video Game Movie Adaptations?

According to this list, there are a number of video game adaptations currently in the works for release within the next two years including Assassin's Creed, Ratchet & Clank, Uncharted and Metal Gear Solid. That same list also has Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time as the highest grossing video...

If all electronic games were unusuable tomorrow, what games will you play?

It is amazing to think just how popular Monopoly is and how long it has stood the test of time. It appears that more than 275 million copies of the board game have been sold worldwide.

    Best/Worst Video Game Movie Adaptations?

I would actually be very interested in watching an animated Super Mario Bros movie. There were reports at the end of last year that Sony were trying to negotiate with Nintendo to secure the rights to develop an animated movie. I hope this come to fruition.

    Old School/classic games?

If you were a fan of Zork, you can still play this online today, here: http://thcnet.net/zork/index.php I have wasted many a night re-playing this a game. Always brings back a lot of fun memories.

    Sports Games?

I guess a large part comes down to the development team working on the game as FIFA, for me, is always a must buy each year and I have never once yet been disappointed, Fight Night was also a big success for me, however, Madden seems to be hit and miss from year to year while the NBA Live series...

    Sports Games?

It really does seem as though EA dropped the ball when it came to their UFC game. It's a real shame that they took over the license from THQ as I was a big fan of the Undisputed series. I really enjoyed these games and yet somehow EA managed to strip all the fun out of the game.

Any other interests aside from gaming?

My two biggest passions outside of video games are sports and music. As I get older, I do find it harder to try and fit all three in to my daily life.

    Amazon App Store

I have the Amazon app store sideloaded. I do like that they offer one free app a day (although often times, it is junk) although I find the Amazon app store to be somewhat clunky and difficult to scroll through at times and so I typically just stick to the Google Play store unless I know there...

Is the FIGHT NIGHT series over?

I agree, pwarbi. The UFC game was a disappointment. It is a shame that EA have decided to put the Fight Night series on the back burner in favor of UFC games. I can understand why, due to the popularity of UFC, but it is still disappointing none the less, especially as EA Sports UFC was so...

    Best/Worst Video Game Movie Adaptations?

Not even the late, great Bob Hoskins could make Super Mario Bros the movie enjoyable for me. I can't believe I actually sat through the entire movie. Here's the trailer to give you an idea of what to expect:

    Best/Worst Video Game Movie Adaptations?

What has always impressed me is that arguably the two greatest fighting game series of all time (Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat) made for horrifically bad movie adaptations. As great as those games are, the movies are epically bad.

What is the very first video game you remember playing...

Pong will also forever hold a special place in my heart also. Although it may have been the most basic and simple of concepts, it was incredibly addicting. Sometimes I feel as though some games today have shifted away from gameplay and instead put the focus on graphics. If had to choose between...

Do you think companies should do away with consoles and just make games for PC

This would be my argument also. The average consumer does not own a gaming PC. Most average consumers would be unable to play the vast majority of the latest releases simply because their system is not powerful enough. In order to eliminate consoles, you would need the majority of PC owners to...

    Worst game of all time???

Same here with me. I really enjoyed Mike Tyson's Punch Out. In fact, this is routinely considered one of the best boxing games of all time. IGN even went so far as to rank this as the 7th best game for the NES of all time.

    Best/Worst Video Game Movie Adaptations?

My least favorite video game movie adaptation was Mortal Kombat: Annihilation . The movie was a huge steaming pile of epic fail. What makes it even worse for me is that my expectations weren't that high to begin with, especially as the original Mortal Kombat movie was pretty horrible but the...

    Sports Games?

I am hoping that the somewhat poor reviews of EA Sports UFC will help convince EA to push up the time frame of developing a new Fight Night. I understand why EA have turned their attentions towards MMA games, especially with its meteoric rise in popularity but to think there are no boxing games...

    Sports Games?

Unfortunately, sports games do lose their value very quickly simply because they are released on a yearly basis. I must confess that I will generally buy each new release every year so that I can have access to the latest rosters, which is a large part of the enjoyment of the games for me.

    Worst game of all time???

Speaking of E.T., I guess the resale value of the game tanked once they uncovered those buried in the landfill. I know that in November of last year, one copy sold for $1,537. A quick look at the value now reveals a much, much lower value.

    Sports Games?

I really like the addition of Ultimate Team in FIFA. This has taken the game to a whole new level of addiction for me. I am really looking forward to this years MLB: The Show. The trailer looks beautiful and the idea of legends being included in the game is a nice touch. The end of the month...
