    Kingdom Hearts IV -- Rumor?

I am excited for Kingdom Hearts III also, though it looks as though we won't get any more real news until the D23 Expo in November. I did read last month that there was the possibility of it being developed for smartphones also - which also begs the question, why not also release it on the Vita too.

Do you think the next Nintendo system will keep the "Wii" name?

If it were up to me, I would have named the console, the Nintendo NEX, a nod to its roots (NES) and also to the future (NEX-GEN).

    FINAL FIGHT-SNES

Much like yourself, I always had a soft spot for side scrolling beat 'em ups. For my money, Final Fight is one of the more underrated and under appreciated classics. Did you ever play Final Fight Gold Championship Edition? If not, I highly recommend it.

PC Version Vs. Console Version for older games.

That is an excellent point re: modding. This really helps to prolong the shelf life for many games and makes older games still relevant today. Grantland recently wrote an article about the stronger than ever modding community for MVP Baseball 2005. It's pretty amazing that 10 years later, this...

Is there an Xbox equivalent to MLB: The Show?

Updated rosters are a must for me and the reason why I will happily buy each new iteration each year - same with FIFA. There are so few exclusives on either console these days but MLB: The Show being a PS exclusive was a big selling point to me. Yes, the game has a GM mode. Though not as deep...

Is there an Xbox equivalent to MLB: The Show?

If you wish to play any baseball games going forward on a next gen console, the only option is to buy a PS4. As of right now there are no definitive plans for any future baseball games to be released on the Xbox ONE. These days there are less and less exclusives and so MLB: The Show being a PS...

    gaming on a budget...

I posted this earlier in the thread but kids are not the largest percentage of video game players. The average age of a gamer today is 30. 71% of all gamers are over the age of 18.

    First Person Shooter

Do you think there is any chance that there will be a Half-Life 3 in the future? Everything I have read lately seems to indicate no. Which would be disappointing. I did see this pretty cool fake concept art for Half-Life 3 designed by Shane Baxley.

Good console games for someone returning to gaming?

I am not sure if you are a casual gamer and what your interests are but my own personal favorite genres are platformers, open-world games and sports games. All three genres lend themselves to both casual and more hardcore gamers and all can be picked up and played for short periods of time.

Is there an Xbox equivalent to MLB: The Show?

Honestly, the answer is no. MLB: The Show was the entire reason I purchased a PS3 and PS4. No other baseball game comes close, IMO. The MLB 2K series is unplayable in comparison. The last Xbox baseball game was MLB 2k13. There is nothing planned for release this year. Your best bet is to hope...

What is your opinion on the growing eSport scene?

I was curious to how much gamers can earn annually and was surprised by the findings. According to this article in Forbes, livestreamers have the potential to earn $300,000 per year or more and that a streamer with 2,000 regular viewers can generate as much as $2,000 of monthly income from...

    Too old to play games?

Actually, more adults play games than kids. I posted this stat in another thread but according to the latest research data available, the average of a gamer is 30. Research indicates that there are more gamers over the age of 36 than between the ages of 18 to 35 or under the age of 18. 39% of...

    Board Games?

My three favorite board games are Monopoly, Clue and Scrabble. All three games stand the test of time. I don't play board games as often these days but I do play a fair amount of poker - both live and online.

PC Version Vs. Console Version for older games.

There are definitely some games that just play better on the PC, anything that involves clicking or heavy menu usages is better suited for PC play. I think this is the biggest reason why sports management and simulation games haven't transitioned well to consoles.

What is your opinion on the growing eSport scene?

eSports are definitely becoming more mainstream, you only have to look at ESPN showing Heroes of the Storm and DOTA2 tournaments to realize that there is growing popular and enough interest for people to watch. I watched a few minutes out of curiosity but it just wasn't for me. It is hard to get...

    New Next-Gen Fight Night Round 6 - Features Breakdown & Wishlist(1,2,3 of 4)

I would love to see a new Fight Night release. The potential for a new Fight Night game was discussed on the forum a few months back and there were a number of others that were clamoring for a next gen release. While I am a fan of UFC and UFC games, it is a shame that EA has abandoned the Fight...

    gaming on a budget...

The average of a gamer is 30. In fact, there are more gamers over the age of 36 than between the ages of 18 to 35 or under the age of 18. 29% of gamers are under 18. 32% are between the ages of 18-35 and 39% of gamers are 36 and older.

    I dont get it...

Same for me. I suck at Call of Duty. I think a large part of is that despite its overwhelming popularity, I just couldn't get into the genre and so I didn't invest the time needed to improve my skills. It also doesn't help if the people you play against are 5 year vets and they curb stomp the...

What are you playing these days?

I think you will definitely enjoy Five Nights at Freddy's. I had a blast playing them. How much did you pay for the old N64 games? The N64 is the only console that I have owned that I didn't keep and so be would be interested in owning this again and replaying Donkey Kong, Golden Eye and Wave...

Our are mobiles ruining the mobile gaming industry?

I agree. Having to carry multiple devices with you (phone and a hand held system) is less than ideal and feels like a waste, especially nowadays with the screen size of mobile phones getting bigger and bigger.
