What games are you currently playing?

Playstation 2: MVP Baseball 2005 (best baseball game ever released to me), FFXII (story is surprisingly disappointing) XBox: Far Cry Instincts: Evolution (just beat it; excellent FPS despite people complaining about it rehashing stuff). Wii -NES/VC: Kirby's Adventure (one of the most polished...

    Question of the Day

Yeah, they should study up. I like to think I'm one of the more rational and fair-minded people in the world. Maybe they'll figure something out. :P Or not, since Science is still struggling with the intricacies of the brain.

    Question of the Day

Well, I'm your y-man. Actually, I'm more indifferent to them. There's no hate I guess.

    Question of the Day

Well, I could say the Cubs. They had the worst record in baseball last season I think. Surely not again this year. But the question is, do they surprise? Eh, probably not. :P Maybe though. Dusty Baker's gone and Lou Pinella's in. They should get rid of Kerry Wood and Mark Prior cuz they're...

    Hotel Dusk: Room 215

Heard it had a pretty good story and stuff. If you like noir-type detective stuff. Sounds pretty cool to me.

    Question of the Day

Alright, I must make a confession... I didn't watch one single super bowl commercial! But I did watch a good chunk of the game (which was pretty exciting given the dynamic nature due to the weather). I am experiencing some sort of weird pride at this moment. :P

    Happy Birthday, Roach

Yep, yep. Thanks. Getting too old too fast. Gotta make something of my life in the next few years. Pressure's on!

    Question of the Day

During this music festival, despite the noise and crowds, I think I went to sleep for half an hour lying in the street (that was blocked off from traffic of course), with my head propped up on the curb. It was strangely comfortable and the pavement was warm.

That stupid frickin horse is dead

And the irony is that half the time, they're traveling and not dribbling!

    Question of the Day

Another good tip is to be poor. So maybe take a job that pays a little less and leaves you more free time (to exercise). That way you don't have as much money to spend on food (fast food, junk food, etc). Go out and buy that new video game instead of eating out for a couple of weeks. Preferably...

    Question of the Day

To put it simply, less food, more exercise. Gotta be able to burn more than you take in. Simple physics. Of course, exceptions and modifiers to the rule exist. But for the most part, that law holds up.

That stupid frickin horse is dead

Barbaro, the one that won (I think) the KY Derby then broke its leg in the next big race. BTW, not sure if you're joking or not. It's one of those things that it's entirely possible someone has no idea about.

    Question of the Day

Don't really have a favorite. I've had phases, though. My first big genre craze was Japanese RPGs. That lasted a long time. Then I hit the first-person shooter circuit. That's been dying down a bit. Now it's just about anything, which is how it's always been for the most part.

    Question of the Day

Some kind of musical skill, like proficiency in some instrument or the ability to read and write music.

Good deal, Jonas. And though our philosophies are different, I think we agree about the issue of money. Too many people are obsessed with the stuff and with working. I'm seriously considering quitting the highest paying job I've had thus far and downgrading to a job that will benefit me in a lot...

Basil: Hmm, what I was trying to say goes beyond just stereotyping the groups or types of people. The outside folks do latch on to stereotypes. The inside folks engage in a sort of group psychology, co-creators of self-contained, synthetic worlds and co-conspirators of their own stereotypes as...

The Roach's Obvious Yet Abstrusely Worded Observation of the Day: most everyone seriously belonging to a 'group' or 'type' as perceived by people on the relative outside fails to understand the collection of ideas those on the outside hold about that group, even though they themselves generally...
