If your game sells well enough and gains momentum (Five Nights At Freddies being an example) it could. It's not something you should get into to make money tho, programming is hard work. Then you'll need sound design, music, art, advertising, all that fun stuff.

Tenchu 2 is still probably the best one in the series and I don't think it's had any ports.

It's the best game I never want to play again. The art, story, combat, music, everything was wonderful but once was enough.
