What Genre of Game Do You Like Better?

Platformers are generally my go to genre, those and FPS games.

    Games You Are Bad At

Puzzle and adventure games, mainly because I get impatient with them. Usually end up looking at walk throughs for them.

    Browser-Based Games

I used to play Newgrounds games all the time back in the day. Not so much any more.

It's the last day of the winter sale, what did you get?

Also if you're waiting to buy things now is the time to! I got Mount Your Friends Wings of Vi Shantae Gunhound Darkstone gifted out a bunch of copies of Defy Gravity too.

    Five Nights at Freddy's 1 and 2

FNAF 1 and 2 are just jumpscares, 2 has these weird creepy atariesque minigames but you games reveal their entire set of tricks almost right away and eh. It's a neat idea tho, I'd like to see them expanded upon.

    Do you use emulators?

Yeah, finding old hardware is expensive and then you need tvs and hookups and the games and gotta hope they work. Gotten too many games at flea markets/yard sales that didn't work at all.

2 great little games for virtually no money

http://store.steampowered.com/app/96100/ Defy Gravity is pretty good and it's 14 cents for the rest of the sale, decent platform/puzzle game with gravity manipulation.

What have you gotten in the Steam Christmas sales so far?

I got Mount Your Friends which was eh, it's silly but once that wears off meh. I've gifted out a bunch of things and gotten a few games too. Still waiting on Wings of Vi and Shantae to get deeper discounts.

I'm gonna go with the vanilla answer and say Pong, which is something I still enjoy playing from time to time.

    CS:GO to have trading/selling cooldown

clicking an item in the CS:GO part of the steam market has this note "Note: Starting in the next few days, items purchased for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive either in-game or on the Steam Community Market will not be tradable or marketable for one week after purchase. We are making this...

What have you gotten in the Steam Christmas sales so far?

Nothing, waiting on Wings of Vi and Shantae to get dailies. There's a few other things I'm waiting on too like Pinball FX2 tables and a few other games I'm gonna get on the last day. If you want a super cheap game Gearcrack Arena is 9 cents, the cheapest any non-free game has been on Steam.

Has music changed very much with PC games

Chip tune has gotten a lot better. Some games (open world) I kind of prefer without music, like Fallout 3/ New Vegas. Others the sound track make the game.

    Steam Auctions

You're not paying anything in realbux and don't have to tho, it's mostly a way to clean out the community market of bunk items from f2p games/valve sales. Still, best to just wait for the sale.

    League of Legends

I'm pretty excited about Snowdown Showdown this year, got enough RP for Poro Rider Sejuani and maybe some more!

    Minecraft Opinions

Minecraft's okay. I way overplayed it, tho I'm tempted to mod it up again and play some Myst/Thaumcraft.

    Steam Auctions

The auctions end in a few days I wouldn't be surprised if the lowest bids for games were over the retail price, gem wise. (takes about 70 cents to make 1000 gems, divide game bids by 1000 then that by .7) Best to just wait for the sale. Or turn your gems into boosters and sell those.

Do you do a lot of farming in the games you play?

I try not to but some games just have you grind away to get a little bit better. But if I can avoid it I do.

Single player games with persistent worlds

http://store.steampowered.com/app/252030/ Valdis Story is what you want. It's a 2D Metroidvania with a persistent world. Crew members can die, bosses can wander off elsewhere, some people can hate you for taking too long to get to them, it's all up to you.

    Do you play Minecraft?

I used to, like all the time. I kind of want to mod it up again and start streaming it. Maybe get Thaumcraft and Mystcraft and go on magic sorcery adventures.
