Canadian, so fluent in English, and better than average "high school" french. I can hold my own in a conversation that doesn't use to man nouns and I can understand most people, and I can definitely read it.

I think the fact that Roald Dhal was on set for much of the original WIlly Wonka and wrote the screenplay means it was still true to the original author :) I enjoyed the original about as much as Tim Burton's, if only for the way Gene Wilder played Wonka :)

He's a horrible comic book artist. A great illustrator, but horrible on comic books.
