I don't think anyone would remake their favorite muppet - why mess with the best? But I wouldn't mind if Elmo were eliminated entirely. I hate that muppet. A lot.

The only reimagining of Beowulf that I liked was Eaters of the Dead by Michael Crihton. He wrote it when a friend of his said there was no way the story could be based on anything real. I like what he did to make it plausible and it was still vastly entertaining. The movie was good too...

For the record I would like to note that Grendel's mother is supposed to be ugly and huge. What's this Angelina Jolie crap? I mean I know why she was included - imagine her breasts in 3D, boys. But really, that's just weak.

Question of the Day: If you could include a new Oscar category, what would you add? I like the idea of a stuntman or stunt coordinator category. And a lifetime achievement award should go to the guy who climbed under the truck in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Steve Carrel won't cross the picket line, but he can't out and out say that so he's taken sick leave. The reason he's provided: enlarged testicles.
